Ok NBC, what the heck happened to Jim Loznicka?? I heard a rumor he got fired, for no reason, man I have to say, you guys are raking in the brownie points with viewers, first it was Drexel Gilbert, then Peter Albrecht, and Tiffany Craig, now Jim Loznicka, what gives. you guys SUCK!!!

I agree totally. Now one less reason to watch - Jim was one of the best on air talents here in Mobile.

I guess the viewers don't matter to WPMI. So WPMI doesn't matter to me anymore either.

I totally agree with you regarding the firing of Drexel, Peter, Tiffany, and now Jim L.  The Gen Mgr, Sean, must be one of those college idiots who thinks he knows it all.  WHAT A SCREWUP!
Jim Loznicka was great: a fresh breath of air.  The new weather girl is pathetic.  What the great Sean should have done was fire VERION WALTON!  She gives me the "willeys".  She has no clue what's going on - can't read the monitor - never knows when to end a sentence.  When she's on, I switch to another channel!   

My bad. I referred to Sean as the Gen Mgr. of WPMI.  His name is SHEA.  He's still a screwup.

You are right on the money about the staff changes and Varion's inablility to read a prompter.  Some of us have started saving her run on sentences.  I am so disappointed that WPMI would let go a gem like Jim Loznicka.  He was fun, quirky, real and an excellent, informative reporter.  I always figured he would move on to a bigger and better market, but to be shoved out the door is a no-class move by the station.  He deserved better and we as viewers deserve an explanation.  Oh well, there's always WALA.

You guys are real screw ups.Why would you fire a guy like Jim, he was spot on with the weather. I can assure you I WILL NO LONGER be watching nbc15 news. I will be reling on accuweather.com for the weather and as for news I guess I will now be referring to it as gossip.THANKS A MILLION  

I think so too.  I thought I was the only one who literally cringed with Varion started talking - especially when they start to ad lib.  My God!  I change the channel too.  I liked Drexel Gilbert and Jim Loznika.  I couldn't believe they fired him!!

When you let Tiffany and Jim go thats when i said Goodbye!  Darwin you better watch out you'll be next, your the only oldie left...

Firing Jim was a huge mistake for you, that will probably be the best thing that ever happened to him. I would like to add that everyone (besides Darwin) on your cast is awful. The only reason I watch it at all is that it's like a train wreck, and I watch in utter disbelief. My wife and I do find it entertaining though, so you've got that going for you! I also think that Pat should leave the Dollar Stores alone. Hey genious, do you think it would remain inexpensive if each store had a security gaurd on the payroll? This is what's wrong with our country today - a bunch of unrealistic ideas being rammed down our throats by idot politicians, and thoes ideas being sold to the public by idiot "talking heads". Leave the Dollar Store people alone!

I am in 100% agreement on Jim Loznicka. He kept your attention.

On VERION WALTON, she has always bothered me and yes the willie's is one way to describe the feeling she gives. Needs to go back the the Restaurant Score card spot. That way the segment producers can correct all her reporting stutters, stumbles and mistakes.

This station for NEWS and WEATHER has become a joke. I restarted watching JUST because of Sandra Shaw, Dextrel, and Peter. Sandra left and I really liked JIM. Then Peter and Dextrel "left" so I occassionally watched just for weather because of JIM and NOW. are YOU KIDDING?
